This is another excerpt from the second novel in The Morrow Girls Series. I hope you enjoy it!
At fifteen years old, Mia had her mother’s glorious shape and fair complexion. She was already a chip off the old block, not that she would ever admit it.
“I’m nothing like her! She’s a fucking jailbird.”
My niece wasn’t in the habit of biting her words even as she spoke to my eldest sister, her guardian and benefactor. With both eyes closed, Nikki exhaled slowly instead of reprimanding the teenager for her vile language.

Teenagers! Another nice six, D. I’m glad I found you via the sixes. I like your storyline, and your characters are unique and interesting.
Thank you! I try to write what’s familiar but also what I’ve never read in books or seen in movies that way I won’t be bored throughout the process. And Mia is a trip, lol. She gets into it with most authority figures and one of my favorite lines is Mya talking about her daughter’s attitude. Maybe I’ll make that the next 6!
That would be great!
Nice post my friend
Thanks.
